Meet the Team
Dr. Steve Pardue
Steve grew up in the southern Philippines and currently lives in Manila, where he serves as Associate Publications Secretary for the Asia Theological Association. Steve also teaches theology and directs the ThM/PhD Program in Theological Studies and Church History at the Asia Graduate School of Theology and International Graduate School of Leadership. He is the author of The Mind of Christ: Humility in Early Christian Theology (T&T Clark) and co-editor of Asian Christian Theology (Langham), Majority World Theology (InterVarsity), and the Majority World Theology series (Eerdmans/Langham).
Matthias Gergan
Matthias has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication and had worked as an engineer for 3 years before pursuing God’s calling and working with an NGO in New Delhi as a project manager. Following this, he did an M.Div. in Biblical Studies from IGSL and currently a PhD candidate (Intercultural Studies – Historical Theological) at Asbury Theological Seminary. His research interests are in the broad areas of ecclesiology and public theology and he is passionate about teaching and developing curricula for the Asian context.
